Assistive Tech Lending

University Disability Resources (UDR) manages the Assistive Technology Library and Lab (ATLL) in the Richard A. and Susan F. Smith Campus Center, Suite 662. The ATLL is a community resource providing opportunities to faculty, staff and students to try technology to see if it will benefit them and borrow technology for personal use. The lab provides short term and long term equipment loans, software licenses* and user testing.

Please note that Harvard also offers assistive technology demonstrations of software and hardware through its Assistive Technology Center .

To schedule an appointment to visit the ATLL, please email disabilityresources@harvard.edu or call 617-495-1859.

Degree seeking students that wish to receive an extended loan of software or technology through the ATLL as a reasonable accommodation must first register with their school’s Local Disability Coordinator (LDC). Local Disability Coordinators will engage in a reasonable accommodation exploration process and make referrals, as needed.

Partial Inventory Selection: The ATLL has a variety of software and equipment. Some items listed below are available for extended loans or licenses while others are specified for in-lab use. To inquire about a loan or license, please email disabilityresources@harvard.edu
