Here is a list of resources that are available related to disability: this list is not exhaustive. Unless otherwise noted, the resources are available to all Harvard affiliates regardless of school affiliation.
Internal Resources
University Disability Resources
Provides leadership to University efforts to ensure an accessible, inclusive welcoming learning and working environment for individuals with disabilities while complying with federal and state regulations.

Assistive Technology Center
Offers software and hardware assistive technology demonstrations to faculty and instructors. Also supports students with disabilities at Harvard College, the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences and most of Harvard’s professional and graduate schools. Services include, but are not limited to: remediation of course materials by converting them into accessible files, and providing image descriptions, tactile graphics and audio descriptions of video where needed.
HUIT Digital Accessibility Services (DAS)
Supports the Harvard community in making sure that everyone has the opportunity to access the university’s knowledge, ideas, and resources. DAS offers training, consultation, and resources on digital accessibility.

Digital Accessibility Liaisons (DAL)
In accordance with the Harvard University Digital Accessibility Policy, the university has established a network of Digital Accessibility Liaisons (DAL) to coordinate local efforts, facilitate training, and monitor progress.

Daytime Van Service
Transportation services available for eligible riders who, because of disability, are unable to use the university’s regular, ADA-compliant shuttles. Available to enrolled students as well as current faculty, staff, and researchers on the Cambridge and Allston campuses.
Student Accommodation Coordinators
Students who wish to request alterations, changes, or modifications to any Harvard policy, practice or procedure (i.e. to request reasonable accommodations), should contact their school's Student Accommodation Coordinator (or “Local Disability Coordinator (LDC)”).
Faculty and instructors with student accommodation questions should contact their school’s LDC.
Accessibility at Harvard Library
Harvard Library aims to make library collections accessible to all and provides accessible study and meeting spaces.
Harvard Teaching and Learning Resources
Harvard Initiative for Teaching and Learning (HILT)
HILT is a university-wide strategic program to catalyze innovation in teaching and learning at Harvard and develops programs for faculty and staff across all Harvard schools.

External Resources
Center for Applied Special Technology (CAST)
Developed the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework as a way to design learning environments that reduce barriers to the curriculum while maintaining high achievement standards for all learners. This resource includes principles and examples of UDL, along with professional development opportunities.
