DESCRIPTION:<p>Renowned civil rights lawyer and scholar <a href="https://law.howard.edu/civil-rights-lawyer-sherrilyn-ifill"><strong>Sherrilyn Ifill</strong></a>&nbsp;is the <a href="https://edib.harvard.edu/mlk-lecture">2024 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Commemorative Lecturer</a>.</p><p>Ifill will share insights on the U.S. Constitution, voting rights, and the role that colleges and universities play in democracy in her lecture&nbsp;<strong>“Reimagining a New American Democracy”</strong>.</p><p>The lecture will be held at Harvard Business School Klarman Hall. A public reception with refreshments will follow.&nbsp;</p><p>This event is free and open to the public.
